I had my 50th birthday recently and to celebrate I am running 50 miles on September 29, 2018 as a way to raise awareness about the problem of human trafficking and to raise funds for a great Charlotte based organization called Lily Pad Haven. My goal is to raise awareness, teach people how to recognize signs of trafficking and what to do when they see something suspicious, and to raise $50,000. Will you help?
Join me on September 29th at 8 .m. On the Town Green in Davidson, NC where the 50-mile run will begin. Loops will begin on each hour and the run will conclude with a celebration on the green at 6 p.m. Please consider making a tax-deductible financial contribution to Lily Pad Haven to help me reach my $50,000 goal.
